About Postcards From The Road

The original idea for Postcards from the Road was for me to publish a hard backed book of about 100 of the best images in my collection. This has now evolved onto the idea of an online gallery updated every week or month depending on how busy I am. The quality of the images vary depending on when they were taken. I nearly always like to use available light as I think that using a flash can quite often kill the mood ( with the exception of a little fill in flash). I used to have to push the Ektachrome 400 ASA slide film to 1600 ASA which explains the pronounced grain and occasional strange colour cast of some of the images. I hope you enjoy.
